Pats Learn from Jamboree
by THS Media Bri Savidge
The Truman girls’ volleyball team traveled to the Blue Springs’ Jamboree Thursday night, in search of some competition before their upcoming game Tuesday against Fort Osage, with Blue Springs and Pleasant Hill also attending the event. Although the team fought hard, they lost three out of four of their games with the scores of 25-17 and 25-23 against Pleasant Hill and 25-18 and 25-13 against Blue Springs.
“We didn’t play our best, but the Jamboree taught us what we need to work on,”senior Lexi Hart. Hart also believes that with time, the team will come together and win a lot of games. With all starters returning to a team that had no seniors last season, many expect that the Patriots will dominate in the Suburban Middle Six Conference this year. The team looks to bounce back in their season opener this Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Fort Osage High School. |
